Seaside Strands is a speculative, exaggerated proposal inspired by Cedric Price’s radical approach to flexible, user-centered architecture. Designed as an ever-evolving system rather than a fixed building, the project sits on an 8x8m steel structural grid and integrates prefabricated portacabins and movable slabs that serve as platforms for living, gathering, performing, or relaxing, adaptable to changing needs over time.
A tramway loop weaves through the site, doubling as a mobile classroom. Classes begin with the journey and end when the route is completed, introducing the concept of Time and Distance in the project.

Structure & Circulation Details
The building is designed without a specific entrance, presenting instead a faceless, boundary-free structure that is open and welcoming. This creates an open and inviting atmosphere that allows for easy public access from all sides. The design features a flexible structure where portable, prefabricated cabins can be inserted adapting quickly to various needs. There are spacious green areas with outdoor furniture that can be freely moved and designed to encourage people to sit, engage and enjoy the environment as they wish because of the vast public areas provided in front of the building
The exaggerated density of figures in the drawings reflects the project's core intention: to be alive with people. It’s a space imagined to be in constant use, where users shape the architecture as much as it shapes them.
